A Soyuz-2-1A rocket launched today with MetOp-B for EUMETSAT. MetOp-B is a weather satellite for Europe and will join MetOp-A already in orbit. Lift off occurred on September 17th 2012 at 16:28 UTC from Launch Pad 31 at Baikonur in Kazakhstan.
